I heard about her great reputation from my coworker and I started her English class in 2014. 

I really enjoyed her unique English sessions. We used English books which fitted my business and personal needs perfectly.

At the beginning, when I moved to the USA, we studied a book that dealt with American Culture.  It was a perfect choice for me and it helped me understand American culture and how the typical US American thinks and acts.  The second year, Geri chose a book about leadership, which we analyzed and discussed during our weekly phone sessions.   This particular book helped me to think deeply in another language.  This book also taught me leadership skills and how to apply these skills in problem solving in the business world and in real life.

Geri’s experience, knowledge, and diverse teaching style allow you to choose almost any subject to study English.  She has a lot of fun teaching and her enthusiasm is contagious.   In addition, if you cannot take the class at her comfortable home-office, she can hold her English sessions by phone wherever you are.

In my opinion, what makes Geri’s class special is that in her class you are not only learning English skills, but also developing critical thinking skills.   Her questions opened my eyes many times.  After each class, I realized that I had learned more than English words.  It was wonderful!

I also appreciated her professionalism and her sincere interest in me. She always corrected my wrong expressions in a positive manner, which showed her previous experience as an English instructor at a college.
